We traveled as two families, we had separate rooms. We had breakfast in the hosts' kitchen. Maybe someone does not like such a close relationship with the owners of the apartments, but it was extremely pleasant for us.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Altskeith Country House is set in Aberfoyle, 10 km from Loch Katrine and 15 km from Lake of Menteith. Both host and hostess are delightful people and did everything to make our stay memorable. Fantastic food, with a lovely dinner and superb smoked salmon for brekky. The best! This is a unique setting, quite beautiful! We were sad to say farewell after only 1 night.

Situated 10 km from Crianlarich, Innishewan Farmhouse features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings. I was arriving late but the owner did not complain. Thank you for that. Very nice place. Clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. I regret that I stayed only one night.
