In the mornings, guests can enjoy full cooked breakfast. The Crown Pub serves traditional pub classics, prepared using high quality ingredients. The staff when I arrived were very friendly, and showed me to my room. This theme continued when I visited the pub for evening meal. The food was brilliant, and was nice to stay somewhere for work that did not just have generic pub food. The room was really well equipped, and it is a lovely touch to have a mini fridge and fresh milk in the room. The breakfast was also to the same high standard as the night previous.

Primarily a working arable farm of 300 acres, the award-winning B and B Highfield Farm, near Sandy offers accommodation with a 5-star rating from Visit England. Just off the A1, this Bedfordshire farm provides free parking and free WiFi. I can't say enough good things about my stays at Highfield Farm. Everything from breakfast to a wonderfully comfortable bed made my stay enjoyable. I enjoyed sharing stories with other guests, as well as the hostess and staff. I was even contacted about a left-behind item. Thankfully, I had planned to return at the end of my holiday and was able to retrieve it.

Situated just off the A428, the Three Cranes’ convenient location means it has good access to the region’s major road network. Situated in the heart of this picturesque village, this small country inn is also a great base from which to visit nearby Castle Ashby and Woburn Abbey with its impressive safari park, populated with elephants, giraffes and lions. Excellent room so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent prepared and served by lovely staff

Offering a garden and garden view, 3 bedroom detached house free car park close to town airport is situated in Luton, 24 km from Woburn Abbey and 25 km from Knebworth House. This guest house offers free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 24 km from Hatfield House. Great little place in an awesome location. 6 adults, and it didn't feel too cramped. Host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again
