After having traveled a long way it was such a pleasure to arrive at Peonia. A fairytale like place with a lovely garden. The rooms are very comfortable and tasteful. We were given an upgrade and this was very pleasant as we were traveling with a one year old. The next day it was no problem for the owners to prepare a very early breakfast for us. (As we had to leave early). And not just any kind of breakfast, a lovely rich table with all kind of delicacy’s. After our stay we were completely reenergised to make our way back home to Amsterdam! :) thank you so much, we will definitely come back the next time we are in the area!!

Les Chambres d'Hôtes du Marché aux Grains are set in an old 18° house with outbuildings in the historic centre of Bouxwiller, a charming little town classified as a Small Town of Character. Very well presented rooms with high attention to detail. High ceilings, interesting furniture and authentic features create a special atmosphere. Marcel and Tatiana are excellent hosts. Great sleep comfort and good choices for continental style breakfast. We will be back

Very well thought out and beautifully renovated accommodation. We were in the upper floor of a converted barn, everything was very modern but in keeping with the lovely old building. Breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend this place and would happily return whenever we are nearby.

When you open the outside door you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the stunning courtyard; as if stepping in a brothers Grimm story. We were welcomed by one of the owners and he explained and told us about the history and some fun-facts of the place. The room was very comfortable; everything newly renovated, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was very good; i finally slept without waking up with a stiff back. The shower is huge and everything was clean and brand new. We had dinner and breakfast; very tastefull, mostly organic and prepared with love and attention for detail. I cannot recommend this place enough! It was the number 1 surprise of our holiday.
