Quiet, off the beaten path but so welcoming and charming. Annette greeted us when we arrived and provided a wonderful breakfast. We made a last minute reservation and she was still most accommodating. I had the best night’s sleep during our 17 day trip at Mariegaardens!

It's located in a beautiful and laid-back town, just 40 minutes drive north of Copenhagen. We came in the summer and there are many restaurants, shops, food trucks and of course the port with a lovely beach Our host Majken was amazing and super helpful and recommended many activities and restaurants and made us feel at home. The place itself is a big house with private rooms and a common kitchenette where you can eat or meet other guests. There's also a big garden just outside the room. We had a very big and comfortable room. Everything was super clean and fancy, even the toiletries were high quality and it was obvious that the host wanted to create the perfect experience for her guests. The breakfast was rich and tasty

Esta pousada recentemente reformada está situada em Slangerup, um anexo privativo aconchegante perto do lago balnear e a 30 minutos. O From Copenhagen possui um jardim. Awesome place. Full of nature around. Lake is fantastic. The annex is very comfortable. Its a home away from home.

Very clean and comfortable room and bed. Stayed for two nights and was happy with value for money and host interactions.

The hostess is very friendly, the rooms are in her house so everything is very homey. And since the rooms are part of the home everything (rooms/corridor/bathromm/place to eat in the kitchen if you book breakfast) is as clean as a home as well as it is well furnished and just all over nice! Nothing feels (is) cheap or loveless as you'll find it usually in hostels with many rooms or cheap hotels (because this accomodations is on top of everything very affordable). I was just so happy to be there. I also booked the breakfast and it was really good with everything you could wish for :-) Thank you so much Helene! oh - and it's a very convenient location: many things to visit (Palaces, Castles, Museums, Parks) nearby (20-30 min drive) and a lot of beautiful nature: ocean, lakes, forest plus if I recall right a nature reserve for walks or bike rides.

Situado em Jægerspris, na região da ilha Sjælland, a 40 km de Copenhague, o Femhøj dispõe de terraço e vista para o jardim. Todos os quartos possuem TV de tela plana a cabo e cafeteira. Already from outside the building itself (a former school) was impressive. The parking area was big enough and close to the entries. The personnel was always helpful and with a smile on their face. The very clean room was spacious, as well the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the TV had a lot of different channels, not only Danish ones. There was a free 24/7 coffee/tea machine in the lobby and different beverages from soft drinks to beer from a refrigerator could be bought. The breakfast wasn't so huge, but enough, on weekends also with scrabbled eggs, bacon and warm sausages. The hotel is located out in the nowhere and that way quite and in the nature. The nearby village of Gerlev is in walking distance. Big supermarkts for example SuperBrugsen or Netto in Jaegerspris and 4 km distance. Frederikssund railway station is 6,5km away, has a spacious free parking and offers railway connection to Copenhagen every 10 min during day hours.
