Offering a garden and city view, Villa Muralto Rooms & Garden is set in Locarno, 6 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona and 37 km from Lugano Station. The host was very nice and always helpful, the house is beautifully outfitted and always clean. The garden which was well kept and had lovely lawn chairs completed the nice atmosphere. From the balcony you could see the lake and the breakfast was simple but of high quality.

Located within 15 km of Piazza Grande Locarno and 20 km of Golfclub Patriziale Ascona in Cadenazzo, Antica Sosta dei Viandanti offers accommodation with seating area. The hosts, Fabrizio and Cristina are informative and friendly. Our ensuite room was small but comfortable and great to be able to open the windows. It was quiet including at night. We were able to park out the front. The parking system allows free parking from 6pm-8am plus an hour free. Or you can buy a parking pass for CHF 7 if you need to stay parked for the day. The breakfast is fantastic. Cristina makes delicious preserves and the yoghurt and blueberry cake was perfect for breakfast, not too sweet but dense, moist and full of blueberries. They also have a selection of fresh fruits, a nut mix, dried fruits, various cereals including the local hazelnut flakes, cheeses, meats, breads, etc and a selection of teas and coffee. They also leave a stocked mini bar outside the rooms so if you wish to pick up take away and eat out in their courtyard, you can enjoy a beer or Prosecco at a nominal charge with it. Antica Sosta feels like a proper bnb where you can engage with the host and be a part of their home but still have your privacy.

The best place to stay in Ascona. Location is very central and yet quiet and cosy. Common bathroom, room and all facilities are impeccably clean. Breakfast was great and had many choices. The host Ulisse is very nice and does a wonderful job to make you feel welcome. Ideal for couples for a romantic weekend getaway in Ticino 😊
