Located in Purasca, 13 km from Lugano Station, B&B Romantico Palazzo dei Ulivi provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. The location was perfect for us, as we frequently crossed the border into Italy, and also travelled up into the lakes of Switzerland. The hosts were warm and welcoming, along with their hospitality, which was attentive without being intrusive. Our morning breakfasts were at an additional cost, however, the amount of food was unbelievable, as well as there being such a wide variety of freshly cooked pastries, lattice’s and deserts, along side traditional breads, cheeses, meat and fruit selections. With my partner being a vegetarian, our hosts made sure that her dietary needs were met, along with a daily explanation, which we found extremely understanding and adaptable. The scenery and upkeep of the grounds were exemplary, and there was a clear sense of pride in it’s appearance. Our room was bright, airy and spacious, with every attention to detail met. We opted for an apartment with a kitchenette and balcony, where everything we needed was already in place. Really very well thought out and of good quality, which was a great touch. Beautiful little hamlet in the mountains. Food was absolutely spectacular, a real treat, both, dinner and breakfast. Local products are delightful! Hosts are very warm and kind people. Rooms are very simple and clean. Views from rooms are outstanding. Hike was excellent! We will certainly come back!

So kind and friendly, he truly made the one night we spent there memorable! The check in and check out process was very easy and the breakfast was just perfect on the outside terrace in the sun! He upgraded us to a beautiful room facing the lake. The common areas are so well thought out and the boutique hotel has a very relaxed vibe, which we loved! Highly recommend this place for singles, couples or families!
