An excursion to the cheese production was also very interesting (but it is not a daily event).

Offering city views, B&B Berninapass is an accommodation set in Poschiavo, 37 km from Train Station St. Moritz and 16 km from Bernina Pass. The room was exceptionally spacious and spotless. I needed to check in late and check out very early, which I communicated to Giulia beforehand. She graciously waited for us to arrive and checked us in herself. The following morning, Giulia rose early to prepare freshly baked, delicious croissants for us to enjoy on our journey. We were greeted with such warmth that it felt like home. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Samnaun, Piz Ot is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a bar, shared lounge and parking on-site among other... I have been In Samnaun several times but first time in this "bed and breakfast". Excellent communication regarding the booking, how to get there, instructions for key in case no one was there etc. In short very helpful staff and modern room, very clean and nice view. Just behind the slightly busy "dorfstrasse". Nice restaurants on walking distance available. Great breakfast with a lot of variety. Reception was excellent, well prepared and very helpfull.

B&B Chasa Arfusch offers accommodation in Ardez, 10 km from Scuol. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant's food (dinner and breakfast) is excellent, fresh and tasty. The location with view on mountains and town (Ardez) is fairy-tale like. The room is neat, comfortable and met our expectations. Ardez is a fantastic little Alpine town with lots of wonderful views and houses.

Offering a small sauna and a sun terrace, Hotel Landgasthof Staila is located in Fuldera in the Müstair Valley. If you are on a cycling holiday this is the place for you. Or even if you are just staying there and doing day trips. It has a big garage with high pressure cleaner and even a good selection of tools for bike repair. The staff is extremely friendly and they will even wash your clothes for free in the evening (or at least that's what they offered us). The dinner was really good and the breakfast was even better. There is a nice garden outisde to relax in the sunshine and wonderful views of mountains all around. Rooms are very clean and have the typical look of a mountain chalet with lots of wood. Probably the best hotel I've ever been to.

Gasthaus Spinas is a rustic property located just opposite Spinas Train Station, surrounded by the UNESCO-protected countryside of canton Graubünden. Hotel is situated in a beautiful valley. The hotel is nice, and the shared bathrooms, where clean and well equipped. The owner is friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was also great! Good value for being so close to the larger resorts for skiing and other winter and summer activities.

The Hotel Central La Fainera is located in the village of Valchava in the Müstair Valley Biosphere Reserve, 5 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Abbey of Saint John. The food at the restaurant was really good :) And the staff super friendly and helpful.

Located in Poschiavo, Albergo Croce Bianca offers a restaurant, a sauna and a Turkish bath. Poschiavo Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. This was one of my best ever hotel stays. I received a warm welcome. The staff were constantly asking if I was okay and if I needed anything. I had a fantastic meal in the hotel restaurant where the service was also outstanding. My room was comfortable.

Located in Sta Maria Val Müstair and only 32 km from Lake Resia, paclera79 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It’s situated in a nice wonderfully renovated old house. Irene is an extraordinarily friendly and helpful host.
