Delicious breakfast. Amazing, very helpful staff. I must visit this place again because it was too short.

Situated in the scenic village of Stechelberg in the Bernese Oberland, The Alpenhof is a simple mountain house with basic facilities and offers budget accommodation, free private parking and a 'pause'... The house is located in a perfect quiet area, mountains are around it. It's 3 minutes by car from the Schilthorn cableway. The shared bathroom was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The room was good size, there was place enough for a crib, too. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Barbara made us feel at home in her house. The view from the room was absolutely amazing and the breakfast which included locally produced products was fabulous. Highly recommend this place!
