There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. It was our second holiday in Tannen 124 and it was as excellent as the first one. Marianne is an amazing, easy-going and an exceptionally friendly host. The house and the surroundings have an amazing authentic atmosphere that makes us feel good. Not only is this place close to Bern and tourist attractions, but this time - thanks to Marianne - we discovered also beautiful walking/hiking paths in the close proximity of the house. Kids loved to watch the farm's daily life from our little balcony - it kept them busy and they loved to watch the animals (horses, cows, chickens...). Also, the views around the road, regardless of direction you take, are exceptionally picturesque. The house itself is perfectly clean and the decor is beautiful and calming. The spacious bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom are very practical with kids. Breakfasts are delicious and rich. Despite it is not easy to get a proper holiday de-stress with little kids, in Tannen 124 my family always finds peace and relax. We will definitely come back! (multiple times).

The house where you will be staying is refined and beautiful, located in a very elegant, quiet neighbourhood and just a few minutes away from a few bus/tram stops, or about a 20 minute walk from the city centre. The host is really kind and very nice, polite and unobtrusive; she gave me many useful tips on how to get around the city. The room I stayed in is very spacious and clean, as is the bathroom (which is shared with the other room; in my case there were no other guests, so it was all to myself). There is also a room where you can get coffee, tea, water and chocolates. The breakfast is excellent: continental; among other things, I enjoyed homemade jams and fresh bread and brioche. If I return to Bern, this will be my first choice of accommodation. Also highly recommended for the quality/price ratio of lodgings in Bern.

Also loved the little touches - like the nespresso machine in the room had nespresso brand pods. I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!

The bed and breakfast, set in a building dating from 2016, is 33 km from Bern Clock Tower and 33 km from Münster Cathedral. Outdoor dining is also possible at the bed and breakfast. My second stay at this place. Absolutely clean just like last time. Owners are very helpful and just great people you want to be with. Big en-suite room with small kitchen facility. It's right next to the entrance, and owners live upstairs. So it's like very private, quiet apartment hotel. Highly recommended.
