Set in Mount Gambier and with Blue Lake reachable within 2 km, Mount Gambier Hotel offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Checkin is at the bar, all went fine. There's a big parking lot you can use behind the hotel. There was a slight mishap with our room, which was however handled in a very professional way and immediately corrected. The room is quite large and rather new, with a big bathroom and ample space for our luggage. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with a nice choice of wines and there's also the possibility to order a breakfast in the morning. The location is right in the middle of downtown, perfect to walk around the city but the rooms are really quiet, even though the main road is just next to the hotel. Loved the town itself, there's a lot of history here, but also interesting geology in downtown and close by with the lakes. Worth a stop.

Boasting garden views, Maunder Cottage features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 38 km from The Beachouse. Oh my the SNACKS! This cottage was so well stocked we couldn't believe it. Also had a lovely soak in the big tub. Cosy and delightful. Walking distance to the shops too, perfect location.

Gorgeous location, Host 2nd to none in terms of hospitality and attention to needs and detail. Very interesting and environmentally conscious personality - a true perfectionist. Can mix as little or as much as you like, fantastic breakfast included with cooked and cereal options with home grown ingredients. If you want to escape the rat race, even for just a night or two, can’t think of anywhere better.

Shady front porch where you can sit and ad enjoy the greenery and birds flying around. Nice complementary breakfast and bottle of wine from the neighbor cellar door. Great base visiting the Barossa Valley.

Settlers Cottage is located in McLaren Vale, 38 km from Adelaide Parklands Terminal, 41 km from Victoria Square, as well as 42 km from Adelaide Convention Centre. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to spend time in the McLaren Vale.

Situated in Marananga, in a historic building, 50 km from Big Rocking Horse, Lucy's Cottage is a bed and breakfast with a garden and barbecue facilities. The location is fantastic, the cottage is charming. Steve is a great host and, like all before us, we love Nelson the canine host. Great breakfast supplied and very well equipped. A wonderful hairdryer!

Not quite the Ritz, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in West Richmond, 5.3 km from Victoria Square, 5.9 km from Adelaide Convention Centre, as well as 6.1 km from Rundle Mall. The bed was wonderful and I slept soundly unlike most nights.
