Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island er boutique-lúxusdvalarstaður sem er aðeins fyrir fullorðna (12 ára og eldri). Breakfast at Sea Dragon Lodge was the best continental - on arrival in the fridge there bottles of fruit juice, a large crock of butter & big carton of Paris Creek Greek-style yoghurt. In the pantry cupboard there were 2 attractive glass containers with 2 different recipes of muesli - we were told they were made by the cook with oats tossed in Ligurian honey, on one lots of almonds, pecans, pumpkin seeds, & plenty of sultanas, currents & other bits of dried fruit, the other jar featured pieces of coconut, cranberries & other fruits but we preferred the other; there were little jars of Beerenberg jams & marmalade & on the bench was a bowl of fresh fruit & a beautiful sourdough loaf; a new loaf was delivered every other day & other items replenished. The loaves kept really fresh, we brought home the uneaten part of our last loaf, couldn't bear to let it go to waste! Our dinners from the cook were very enjoyable as well, for mains we had great individual chicken & leek pies, lamb shanks, & each had 2 lovely large fillets of King George whiting on our last night. We loved the great views, the private cove a short but steep walk away , bush scenery all around & wildlife visiting us in the mornings & from late afternoon. It was so peaceful & lovely , we enjoyed every minute of our holiday.

KI Dragonfly Guesthouse er gistihús í einkaeign sem er staðsett í Kingscote á Kangaroo-eyju. Ókeypis bílastæði, WiFi og farangursgeymsla eru innifalin. Susie & Bruno were fabulous, over the top hosts who made us feel immediately at home in their very comfortable guest house. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and “breaking bread” with the other guests from around the world. They included us in their meal even though we arrived late. We wish we could have stayed much longer to continue to experience their hospitality as well as take in even more of Kangaroo Island. I will tell all of my friends to seek them out!

When we first saw Wedgetaildown on-line it seemed too good to be true! Well, it is real, and it is magnificent. Few places have such a lasting affect as this. Dear Betty and Peter, the perfect hosts, with friendliness, helpfulness and kindness in abundance. From the home baked bread, to wine, and chocolate gifts, and simply their lovely conversation. Their vision, and the work they do here for wildlife and nature, and for its future, is awesome. Thank you. The accommodation is just wonderful. So much thought and detail has gone into it, to make it the perfect stay. Whilst you are remote, there are all the modern comforts of home and more, with the bonus of real nature outside. Say hello to the Kangaroos every morning and evening, as you sit outside absorbing the raw beauty of this place and the glorious sunrises and sunsets. Not forgetting the Goannas, Koalas, and abundant birdlife Centrally located on the island which makes it very good for visiting the rest of glorious Kangaroo Island. The night sky is simply breath-taking. Staying here, was a privilege, and one we will never forget.

Wanderers Rest á Kangaroo Island er lítið gistiheimili við sjávarsíðuna. Fallegi staðurinn hefur fengið nýja stjórn, lítið fjölskyldufyrirtæki. A really great experience, highly recommended! Owners are lovely and very caring and kind, and great to talk to. The place is amazing and in a decent position to the rest of the island which helps for getting around. It has a gorgeous view overlooking the lagoon, beautiful wooden and natural theme inside the main lobby lounge area and very calming and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are great and have what you need, and for the price this is an absolute bargain and excellent quality.

Anchorage Cottage Kangaroo Island býður upp á sjávarútsýni og gistirými með vatnaíþróttaaðstöðu og svölum, í um 37 km fjarlægð frá Christmas Cove Marina. The decor in the Anchorage was quirky and colourful. The property was well equipped and in a good location. I would definitely stay there again as I thought it was reasonably priced and value for money. Kangaroo Island is always a magnificent place to visit.
