Boasting a bar and views of city, Kore Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Gjirokastër, 44 km from Zaravina lake. Communication with the host was very prompt. The location was excellent, clean room, very good breakfast. The bathroom was very clean. The car can go right up to the guest house . Matilda was very helpful and gave us a few tips on what to do. I wish we could stay an extra night to enjoy this beautiful place. Looking forward to another stay at Kore Guest House.

She welcomed us in front of the property and showed us our room. The property is in the Old city and very close to the Bazaar and all the restaurants, cafeteria and historic sites in Gjirokaster. We've had an amazing time and I truly recommend Maria and her lovely house.

Alsara Guesthouse is offering accommodation in Gjirokastër. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. It was really great stay at the Alsara Guesthouse. We expect it will be great after reading the reviews and seeing pictures of the breakfast and therefore we decided to stay two nights in Gijrokaster instead of one and we also recommend the other guests to stay longer in the town and at the Alsara Guesthouse. The location is great as right from the Guesthouse you enter the main streets of the Bazaar, so you are right in the center. Even though you are in the center there is no noise coming from town during the night, so we had great sleep. The rooms are very nice and clean. In the Alsara Guesthouse there is a great rooftop, which is one of the best things about this hotel. We enjoyed there a glass of wine with a beautiful view on the town and we started there our mornings with breakfast. The breakfasts are HUGE, and there are another reason to stay an extra night at the Alsara Guesthouse. Moreover, the owner is super carring and helpful, he recommend us places to visit, restaurants to eat at and helped organized a taxi with a good price. If you come to Gjirokaster you must stay at the Alsara Guesthouse, we loved it very much!

Set in Përmet, Chri Chri Guesthouse offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Gilberto is a very accommodating host. He is very knowledgeable about the Permet area and gave us great suggestions about hikes. The guesthouse is beautiful and in a great location above the valley. The view is amazing. Breakfast was traditional Albanian food. Homemade jams, bread, cheese, etc. Delicious! Dinner at the guesthouse is an option and I highly recommend it.
