She welcomed us in front of the property and showed us our room. The property is in the Old city and very close to the Bazaar and all the restaurants, cafeteria and historic sites in Gjirokaster. We've had an amazing time and I truly recommend Maria and her lovely house.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Clockwise GuestRooms is a recently renovated guest house situated in Gjirokastër, 43 km from Zaravina lake. With city views, this accommodation offers a patio. We had a great time at Clockwise in Gjirokastër. Joanna was the friendliest host we had on our whole three week trip to Albania. She was there whenever we had a question, asked us what we wanted for breakfast (which was varied and copious) and gave us great tips where to visit. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. You can even log on to your own Netflix account via the TV (if you remember your login credentials from home). The location is perfect. Right in the center, so everything is in walking distance. Joanna supplied perfect directions to her place as the road that leads to it was new and not yet on Google Maps. Big recommendation, we would come again any day.

Boasting city views, Te Kalaja Rooms provides accommodation with a bar, around 44 km from Zaravina lake. Featuring mountain and garden views, this guest house also includes free WiFi. One of the best rooms we have ever booked! We liked it so much!! Very clean and beautiful room, perfect location (near to the center). The owners very friendly and the did the best for us. We ate also dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we ate delicious and traditional albanian food!! The breakfast was full!! Our room (double deluxe) had perfect view and was perfect decorated! 🥰

I was sure that I wrote a 10 Star review after our stay, as we will never forget the incredible hospitality and care we received. I was unwell and was looked after better than from a Mother. The house is beautiful, tranquil, modern facilities, super comfortable beds with nice linen. The drive up in the Jeep is an adventure .
