oh my gosh I loved everything. The rooms were a fantastic size and the common areas wonderful. it felt like being treated as a guest in your own home. The bed was so big and comfy and the breakfast was above and beyond any expectations I had.

John was a great host, we were on our honeymoon and he offered to upgrade us to a lovely private cottage with a hot tub. The location is great as it's close to the park enterance.

Volcano Rainforest Retreat, bed and breakfast a Volcano

Located 3800 ft above the sea in the town of Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii, near Kilauea Volcano, Volcano Rainforest Retreat provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking.

We arrived after sunset and therefore could not assess the full scope of the property at arrival, but just arrived at our cozy cabin and could chill out in the outside Japanese tub, then fall asleep to the sound of the wildlife sounds. When we got up in the morning, we were greeted by a full blown rainforest. While I knew from pictures what it could look like, the real thing was more than stunning and a great experience.

from the lanai with the outdoor fireplace to the backyard spa, the cottage was a true oasis and sanctuary. Scott, Deborah, and Paul were fantastic and helped a family member arrange a surprise gift for us upon arrival. memorable stay in every way!

Situated in Volcano, in a building dating from 2008, 18 km from Kilauea, At the Craters Edge provides guestrooms with free WiFi.

The room is super clean, fresh and comfortable. It has a lot of great facilities! During the stay in at the craters edge, we felt the hospitality from the host Eric and Christopher, they were always so kind and so welcoming. We really enjoy this stay and thank you for providing such a great service!!
