Ponderosa Ridge is a hidden gem in the Sierra Nevada. We landed ins San Fransico (from Europe) at 12:00 and by 17:00 we were sipping a glas of wine on the porch in the mountains overlooking the flowerbeds below the trees. It was a great stop on our way to Death valley, with a beautiful route ahead over Echo Summit pass, Luther pass and Monitor pass. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and focused to make sure we felt very at home on the first night in the States. We went off after a great breakfast that sustained us all day.

Guests of this B&B are treated to a breakfast featuring locally grown produce. Breakfast changes seasonally and is served buffet style. Guests can enjoy their breakfast on one of the property’s patios, decks or sun rooms. Specialties include oven baked scones, blueberry buttermilk pancakes and quiche.
