The hosts were so nice and welcoming. I immediately felt very comfortable. The place is very relaxing, the view from the studio with huge glass doors was amazing out to the beautiful garden with many different colorful pretty flowers with the ocean on the horizon. I loved the very tasty fruits from the huge garden and sitting on the porch to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. I can very much recommend this place. Especially if you want to unwind.

Superfriendly hosts, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Location is great if you are looking for a place AWAY from the hustle and bustle and touristy spots of Kona. We loved it! (drive to Kona can be about 20 minutes depending on traffic) Lots of bird and frog sounds, very immersed in nature. Beautiful view of the coastline and the macadamia farms. Room was comfy, we were given a small table at our request to be able to work on a computer from the couch. Bathroom seems to have been recently remodeled, great shower! Everything very clean. Breakfast was excellent, home cooked and with fresh fruit from the neigbourhood farms. You can also use dishes etc for preparing your own quick meal or drink all day long. Beautiful sunsets to watch from the patio each night. We enjoyed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by Sharon and Thomas and the many conversations we had. Other guests during our stay were also very friendly, the 3 rooms share the patio and enjoy a joint breakfast. >>> Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a little piece of paradise away from the big touristy places.

We were upgraded to the couples suite and loved the privacy! The views were amazing and it was the most relaxing part of our vacation. Viviane was so nice and gave great recommendations for where to go and what to eat. In hindsight we wished we would have stayed a day or 2 longer!

View of Pacific Ocean from upper deck is gorgeous. Feeling like waking up at a farm with cows and pigs roaming in the morning. Breakfast at the upper deck including fresh fruits and juice was just nice to kick start the day.

Breakfast was delicious with gourmet coffee. The private lanai had a nice view of park lands and wildlife. We borrowed some of the snorkel gear that they provided for guests. The location was convenient for getting to the Captain Cook monument and two step snorkeling. Carl and his German Shepherd Rex were gracious hosts. We thought Hale-Hoola was a great value for staying near Kona.

What a wonderful relaxed place. Loved the substantial breakfast on the upper lanei with the birds to watch. Our room faced the ocean and the sunset and had its own private lanei. We could bring food back from local restaurants and there was a microwave. It was a brilliant location for the national park and Two Steps snorkelling. Our hosts were very welcoming. Lovely comfy bed. Beach equipment provided too.

I enjoyed the location, but I enjoyed meeting Kurt and Kana more. They were nice people and treated us well. The food was amazing. I never experienced bed and breakfast. This experience was very unique because we had fresh fruits and something new everyday. Thank Doctor Kurt and I hope one day we can met again. Mahalo!
