Beautifully decorated and so welcoming what a gem of a place to find in Bar Habor. beautiful property where the staff really welcome you. The baked goods on arrival were a real treat after a long drive. Breakfast was really good loved the sweet and savoury options.

Modern House Family Retreat, bed and breakfast a Bar Harbor

Boasting mountain views, Modern House Family Retreat offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 11 km from Agamont Park.

This house was in an excellent location for us and will probably be for you too. It was only minutes from my daughter's home and you could be in the center of Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia NP in minutes as well. It's a very private setting and the rooms are very spacious. In great weather, you can enjoy morning coffee on the deck. Be aware that you enter the property from the back door. By the time you stay here, the new two-car garage will be built. You need to pull around the side of the garage to get to the back door. There's a nice turn-around so there's no need to back in or back out with your car or truck. You'll really enjoy the huge kitchen and open living room. The owners are extremely responsive and proactive. That's a good thing.

Situated within 700 metres of Town Beach and 700 metres of Agamont Park, Black Friar Inn and Pub features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bar Harbor.

This place has an outstanding energy! The rooms are cozy and with god size. We stayed at one that has a roof window and we could se the moon during the night. The fact that the Inn has a Pub is so great! Breakfast has many options, everything is delicious and the hostess are really funny.
