My stay at Elizabeth's enchanting place in Varberg was nothing short of magical. From the moment I stepped into her cozy haven, I was greeted not only by the warmth of her hospitality but also by the unexpected delight of sharing the space with a couple of charming hippopotamuses. The whimsical presence of these gentle giants in the room and the garden transformed the place into an art exhibition of its own kind. Elizabeth's artistic touch is evident in every corner, creating a harmonious blend of comfort and creativity. The rooms, adorned with unique decor, felt like a gallery, and the garden, with its resident hippos, added an element of playful surprise. Staying here was not just an accommodation experience; it was a journey into an artful sanctuary where hospitality and creativity coexist in perfect harmony. A heartfelt thank you to Elizabeth for curating such a one-of-a-kind retreat in Varberg. I left with not only cherished memories but also a newfound appreciation for the magic she has infused into every aspect of her delightful space.

If you are interested in staying in an authentic Swedish cottage house, it is a great choice. Mikael is a very sweet host and takes pride in the history of his property (preserving the wood, the wallpapers, etc.). He has a beautiful rose garden where you can eat breakfast. He provides all the ingredients and you can do anything you like, which is perfect for us (you can wake up anytime you like). It is the latest check-out time we have had. We also like the location in the outskirts and yet just a car ride away from the center. Thank you!

The Olsegården is a little paradies. The cottage is large enough, clean and well-equiped. The whole area is just amazing and everything garden-lovers could wish for. We just could not stop walking through the different gardens and being impressed by what the two have created. A perfect place (especially when travelling with a dog). You can feel the passion and love that has been put into creating the Olsegården. Cooking is possible at the lovely outdoor kitchen or you can use a Grill that is provider for euch cottage. And as great hosts, they even installed a TV in their own Winter garden to let us watch the football championship. Only one thing: Do not make our mistake and stay for only one night. We'll come back with more time :-)
