The property was in a great location, wonderfully view! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hot water, wifi, room service, towels, soap, shampoo etc all provided! A complimentary bottle of water that could be refilled. The staff here were amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and did everything to ensure we had a great stay! The owner helped to top up my phone, gave us advice on where to go and what to see, buses etc. The food was so good! We ate here everyday, we didn’t even bother going to any other restaurant because we enjoyed the food here so much!! The simple breakfast was so tasty - don’t be fooled by the name! the best hash browns I’ve had. Also the chicken Nepal Thali was incredible. So much flavour! Banana pancake, Mimi’s etc. It was all incredible. Originally we only booked for two nights but extended to four. I wish we could stay longer. Thankyou so much for a lovely experience here :)

Pradhan House-Homestay (Bhaktapur) Everything about this homestay was excellent. The hosts: Ganesh and Rupa are extremely nice, and they are helpful in every way. They go out of their way to be sure you enjoy your visit. Location: A short walk from Dattatraya Square, on a tiny side street. It is a five to ten minute walk from Durbur Square and the majority of major temples, museums, and other important sites. All sorts of shops are nearby. The homestay itself: Quiet comfortable rooms with good beds and nice bathrooms, and showers that are hot. Set in a beautiful garden plaza behind a gate and wall. Private feeling. Wifi was strong and fast. NTC cell reception was also strong. Food: We had truly delicious breakfasts there every day. A variety of breakfasts are offered. Their other meals are probably equally good, but we chose to eat at some of the local restaurants, of which there are many, for the sake of variety. If we return to Bhaktapur we would choose to stay here again.

This is our third time back and the staff have done many renovations and continue to improve the Guesthouse. It has a very nice rooftop for sunset and meeting other guests. Bishwo the owner is very helpful and gave us a tour of Bhaktapur. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. It s well located and quite. Bhaktapur has a special vibe

Staying at Peacock Guesthouse was an experience on its own! It is a piece of a medieval fairytale brought into the modern world. Not only you feel the history everywhere, but also the artistry of Bhaktapur craftsmen: the wood-carved windows overlooking the oldest square of the town and the temple, the wooden artifacts in the cute courtyard, the craftsman himself working next to the restaurant…. We marveled every minute of our stay there, we tasted a good amount of their great food and we spent literally hours observing this lively town from our windows… If you are in Bhaktapur and you like living in history and art, look no further.

Shekhar is a special person that has created a special place for travellers to come together, share and find a likeminded community which this place seems to attract. On arrival I felt immediately at peace as it feels like home and has the best energy. Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

Everything about this guesthouse is fabulous- from the location in the middle of the old city, to the room and the amazing caretakers who could’nt have been kinder! And the homemade breakfast was divine
