Possibly the best BnB I have ever stayed in. It's perfectly located between the city center and the WUR (university), both reachable by bicycle (the host has one that can be easily used) within 10 minutes in a very quiet area. The rooms are ridiculously well equipped! Downstairs, there is a sauna, a private cinema room, and another room with a beamer & screen, a PS5, hundreds of Blurays etc., and a table soccer. The host is super nice and welcoming and prepares breakfast at the time and in the way one wants. In case I return to Wageningen one day, I would definitely stay there again!

Friendly reception and the feeling of at home. The location is exceptional, not to close but definitely not too far from the central shopping area and bus services. Wonderful experience and very keen to stay there again.

Peter and Marianne provided an excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and had everything one could need. I did appreciate that there was a first aid kit, a fire blanket and a fire extinguisher in the home. The vase of yellow tulips were a lovely welcome.

What did we like? Everything! We were there for the Operation Market Garden commemorations and the property is located just a fifteen minute walk from the drop zone, where, indeed, I parachuted on one of the commemoration days. And if you are into that part of history, then you are within easy reach by car of all the British sites from the battle: the Airborne Museum at the Hartenstein in Oosterbeek, the Airborne Cemetery, alsoin Oosterbeek, Arnhem Bridge, the St Elisabeth's Hospital, the Old Church in Oosterbeek, and many other sites. The village of Heelsum is delightful: clean, quiet, well-kept. There is a supermarket just a few minutes walk from the property, also a place where you can rent bikes. The property itself is comfortable, clean and well equipped, with a strong "at-home" feel to it. You can sit outside on the small porch and enjoy a meal there, and even though it is close to the main house where the hosts live, you have all the privacy you need. As for the hosts: I have stayed at many B&B-type properties in the Netherlands and France, and Betty and Sjaak are the kindest, most considerate, and helpful hosts you could hope to have. We are definitely going back. What a wonderful trip we had!
