The view. The cleanliness. The value for money. The staff. Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

Everything. The room was lovely and had great views. The staff went above and beyond - they’re so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, but the best part was definitely the on-site cooking class. It was so much fun and so yummy. It’s a bit outside of Haputale but a 300 rupee Tuk Tuk is super easy, and it’s walkable to the monastery down the street which is a much see little attraction. A+ all around!

Our stay at Rosenkas was on of our best of the whole Sri Lanka trip. Very, very friendly owners who did everything to make our stay as pleasent as possible. We had an amazing cooking class with them and they served us a delicous Sri Lankan breakfast the next day. It was even possible to wash our clothes in their laundry machine. The rooms are very nice, the view is breathtaking, the whole experience was just perfect! Thank you very much again!

Very friendly staff. Location slightly away from my fav Temple road. Perfect surroundings to stay in Haputale. Also not far away from the railway station. The owners met me in the late evening. And took care of me until my checkout. Was a pleasure to talk to them during the breakfast.

We have spent there 2 nights. It was amazing experience .The whole family speak English and they welcome you as you were part of the family.You feel that way all the time. Food-delicious! Place itself located 3 km from the center up on the hill. Because it is high in the mountain, the weather there is cooler ,so no need for A/c in the room. I think this place is "must stay" if You are planing relaxing time in Haputale. What more is that we have met there lot of people from all over the world, even planing to stay there for much longer...:-)
