This was my favorite place on a 10-day trip through central Italy. It's next to the University and I think it's an old professor's house. My room was quite fine but the inside of the house was gorgeous. There were piles of books everywhere (and I do mean EVERYWHERE!), mostly history, psychology, and philosophy. The breakfast was very good; they did offer to cook me some eggs but I declined. The reception was very helpful with parking. It's in the middle of a ZTL and I unknowingly parked in it. He walked two blocks with me to get the license plate and arrange that I didn't get fined.

It was priced very economically, yet was nice. The owner does not reside on-site so breakfast is do-it-yourself using high-quality packaged pastries, a refrigerator filled with juices, yogurts, etc., and a Nespresso machine. The owner and her family went the extra distance to meet me at the airport and help me lug my bike box and roller bag to the property, and also help me return to the airport the next morning (the routine appears to be that the owner arrives on site mid-morning). They were very nice and accomodating, highly recommended if you need to stay near the Pisa airport and do not need fancy accomodations. The property is a converted house and appears to consist of 3 rooms for guests, and a common room + kitchen (which guests can utilize -- including the pots & pans, etc). NOTE: It seemed that my room and at least one of the other two rooms shared a bathroom. There may also be another room with its own bathroom but I cannot confirm that.

I have to say from the beginning that we should definitely come back to this place! We had such a pleasant stay! The room was very clean, plenty of space to put our clothes and other things we had. We found a hairdryer, mini fridge and everything written in the description. The rooms are bigger and more beautiful in reality. Michele was so kind and helped us with everything we needed. I definitely recommend this place. It is very close to the airport and trainstation.

Soba je bila ok sa pogledom na glavnu pješačku zonu i očekivano je bučna, ali kad se zatvori prozor tada je u redu. Doručak je dobar, na terasi sa pogledom na toranj. Moram reči da ima komaraca, pa uzmite aparatiće protiv njih, ili sprejeve.

Centar grada, glavna shoping ulica je iza ugla. U ulici je parking lako dostupan i čini se siguran. Cijena parkinga je prihvatljiva (1,60 e/h). Doručak u obližnjem lokalu je vrlo blizu. Lokal je ugodan. Za doručak se može uzeti kroasan i slična peciva i kava, čaj ili kakao. Dovoljno za prvi jutarnji obrok. Soba u kojoj smo bili je uredna a kupaonica čista. Svaki dan dolazi spremačica i promijeni ručnike, usluga je kao u hotelu. :)
