This is a great mix, on one side it is a hotel with the service you expect to have, on the other hand the provided hospitality you get is comparing with renting apartments / guesthouses. The room had just exactly what we needed, with a very nice balcony, very clean and stylish and Francesco was very friendly and helpful!

the rooms are very clean and exactly like the pictures on the website. host was very friendly and responsive when I texted about a change in our arrival time. they were also very flexible to let us keep the room for an extra hour when we wanted to quickly take a morning dip and use the shower after. we also got a cute gift because sth very small was not fixed in the room (sth negligible). def recommend to anyone who wants to stay there

The owner was charming and the breakfasts large with the owner offering top up of orange juice, cappuccino etc. Location is easy too

It is charming, practical and very well functioning, located in a quiet area of Manarola away from the crowds. Within a few minutes walk you find a great variety af bars, restaurants and two grocery stores. I will definitely stay in Il Bordone if I come to Cinque Terre again. Great location with an easy walk into town (steep but manageable hill) and not too close to be noisy.
