We arrived and the super nice and friendly host welcomed us in the guesthouse. He gave us very useful hints for our travel and we had a very nice conversation. The guesthouse is put together with a lot of thoughts and love. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, the decoration tells you a lot about Iceland and once you step into the house, you get a feeling of home. The location is also great, just a few min from the next village (with the secret lagoon). It is dark there in the night, so perfect to see the northern lights. The room we had, was quiet small, but just large enough to open all the language. It had comfortable hangers and a heater for we cloth and the bed was super comfortable. In short, we were super happy with our stay and that for a very very good price!

In the middle of nowhere, we enjoyed the peace and the calm of the area. Great location, with a "hidden" icing on the cake : a small thermal water pool just for you!

The room was exactly as pictured. We were comfortable throughout our short stay, and the host was very accommodating. We had some car trouble that made us arrive later than expected but thanks to the staff we were able to make it work. Breakfast was great as well, and we really appreciated the drink station for tea when we got in from the cold. Many thanks!

Everything - location, amenities. We didn’t manage to use the outdoor hot tub - due to our chaotic schedule, but we make it a promise for our next time visit.🙂 Very involved and supportive host.

Beautiful guesthouse in a quiet and peaceful location. Everything is sparkling clean and the house has so much natural light. The room was spacious and clean. The host, Haraldur is a wonderful man, such a pleasure meeting him and talking to him. He showed us around the house, explained everything, including the Icelandic breakfast. The breakfast included in the room rate is also very good, fresh and varied. There is good coffee, tea and how chocolate for guest to make. Also guest can use the kitchen to cook dinner for themselves. It was such a good experience to stay there, I totally recommend it.

Location was excellent to visit many tourist locations. Although it's a bit far from the airport I do not have any complaints really.
