We stayed in a cozy twin room. It was very clean and quiet. The view was gorgeous. We had coffee, tea and biscuits in our room which was great. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Shirley was friendly and knowledgeable about the area which was helpful. She made delicious shortbread cookies that we had as a snack after our day out touring the island. This is a great place to base yourself as you tour around the Isle of Skye.

The whole apartment is spacious, new, clean with modern fixtures and very comfortable. Big comfortable bed. The floors of the apartment are fixed with controlled heating. Ronnie and Senga were very friendly and helpful. They even provide individually packed cereals, fresh eggs from their chickens , fresh milk, juice and bread. The view is superb.

Vivienne and Steve are the most considered and loveliest hosts. They go above and beyond to make your stay the very best it can be with so many little touches. It was honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in my life because of all the thought that goes into the experience. The food is AMAZING too. Do yourself a favour and sign up for their supper club and get a picnic box too. The bothy itself is super luxurious and comfortable with amazing views , you won’t want to leave. Beautiful view, excellent breakfast at a great rate. Very quiet rural area, but 30 min from Portee and only 5 minutes from the town of Uig, which has ferry service to other islands. We had a nice day trip to the Fairy Pools one day, then another to the Old Man of Storr and a trip around the top of the island on the return. Angus responds quickly to whatever you need, and there is a fridge and microwave to make some homemade quick meals. I thought sharing a bath would be a nuisance, but even when booked full, it was not. There is a nice large bathroom upstairs with a shower and a toilet and sink downstairs. There are few restaurants nearby, but you have to reserve in advance, both nearby and in Portree. I suggest the Uig Hotel. They have espresso coffee and a delicious breakfast.

The host are very nice people. The studio we stayed in was very nice and beautifully decorated. Great location. Highly recommend is staying on isle of skye.

We found the breakfast to exceed our expectations. Its a real treat having a coffee machine available. We had so much to eat we had enough for lunch as well.
