Situated within 200 metres of Thurso Beach and 28 km of Sinclair's Bay in Thurso, Pentland Lodge House offers accommodation with seating area.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed meeting Liz. The house itself is beautiful, and the location and parking was very convenient. There was a booklet in the room that was filled with information about the history of the house, the local area, routes to take walks around the area, and much more. The room was surprisingly quiet, even with a main road not far away. The breakfast was very good, and cooked to order.

Offering a garden and garden view, Windhaven Camping and B&B is situated in Thurso, 25 km from Sinclair's Bay and 10 km from The Castle Gardens of Mey.

Amazing location, with the sea in sight and a stone’s throw away. Hosts were absolutely lovely people (also doing great work saving seals!) who went well beyond the call of duty.

Friendly welcome by the proprietor. Well furnished room and throughout. Lovely breakfast. The whole property was spotlessly clean. Good location with sea views. Ample parking in the area. Would totally recommend staying at the Marine, whether for one night or seven plus.

Hosts extremely chatty but needs to find a balanced approach. Very clean, tidy, almost regimented. Food was well cooked. Nicola went out of her way to provide flavoured tea as there as none was available

Felt like a home, able to relax in the loungeroom after dinner with log fire burning. Delightful! Fantastic amenities, lovely little touches like the pillow spritz to help sleep & a cosy hot water bottle. Beautiful grounds and a short stroll to a great local pub for dinner as recommended by the host.

A stylish bed and breakfast in mainland Scotland’s most northerly town, Bed and Breakfast at 4 in Thurso enjoys a town centre location just 5 minutes’ drive from the ferry to Orkney.

Reception was warm and very thoughtful, especially because we arrived pretty late in the night. The location is good, the facilities are nice and clean, with a private bathroom that was spotless clean. The room was a cozy double bed, very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, in a nice space to begin the day.

    Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Ruime kamer die erg sfeervol in het Highlander thema is ingericht. Alles was nog nieuw maar goed over nagedacht.

    The last hotel on the A9, The Ferry Inn at Scrabster is newly renovated and has wonderful sea views. Just north of Thurso, Scrabster Harbour is the gateway to the Orkney Islands.
