This is the second time staying here. It's so peaceful and the breakfast provided in the room is very nice. The little table and chairs outside is perfect for a glass of wine. Very comfy bed. Communicative owner.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond. We were going to a wedding and running late. I had to quickly get changed in the toilets as we were too early and they sorted all our bags out while we were at the wedding.

We totally loved it! The host made us welcome immediately and was always attentive to anything we asked. He was so nice that we literally became friends in the few days that we spent there. Everything is done with the utmost attention and comfort. The breakfast was so tasty and always freshly prepared. Whatever we asked for, he overdelivered. Truely recommended and we will visit again very very soon!

sympathetically modernised, first visited about 1971 when it was a tiny two room pub and seen it evolve through the years from small restaurant to current status. Good menu choices and food well presented. Food served midday and evening whilst for overnight stays a hearty breakfast sets you up for the day. Staff go the extra mile to ensure all is well with your stay. Our room was beautifully rustic, clean and tidy but I believe shortly to be further rejuvenated, can only be an even higher standard. The setting of The Pheasant is tremendous looking out over the Cheshire Plain by day and out to the surrounding villages and towns lit up at night.
