You can get a nice English breakfast anywhere in the Cotswolds, but this is just a notch better than the usual, i.e. with fresh avocados, rather than canned ones. They are also a true Gastropub with friendly and competent service. We had a gourmet dinner with excellent menu choices, and they had no problems accommodating a table of seven in a timely manner. Centrally located in the Cotswolds with a perfect view over the landscape in the front rooms and a quiet garden in the back. All rooms (we rented all 5 of the rooms) with all the comforts and amenities you might want and impeccably clean. Plenty of parking!

Beautiful room, sorry can't remember the room number but it was in the loft, upstairs. Great host, thanks John, we had a blast! It's location is close to the Train Station, great for getting around.

A családi szoba (7. számú) nagyon kényelmes, két dupla, kényelmes ággyal. Igazi vidéki angol hangulat, ablakba kuckózós reggeli kávézásra. Legjobban a hatalmas, stílusos ablak tetszett. A berendezés autentikus, a szoba jól felszerelt.

Helen is an excellent host. Limes is also the best hotel on my trip to the UK! The hotel is only a five-minute walk from the center of stow-on-the-wold, yet very quiet. It is also very convenient to drive to several of the Cotswold's most famous attractions. The house itself has a long history, and the garden is very exquisite, with every step of the way creating a beautiful view. My family and I came from China and have great memories here. I will recommend Limes to my friends!

we loved the location of these rooms. they are new and very clean. the breakfast was delicious and the communications excellent. we so enjoyed being able to walk around Stow-on-wold after a good night’s rest.

Room & bathroom very spacious and clean. Breakfast very nice and selection of good coffees & teas Lovely cakes, pastries, sandwiches etc. Owner & staff very helpful and pleasant. Made our stay enjoyable and would highly recommend.
