Carol & Ceri went above & beyond as hosts. This is an amazing bed & breakfast. They went out of their way to accommodate us on several occasions and made our trip overseas that much better. The bedroom was so cozy and there is a beautiful backyard to sit down and relax in. Breakfast was great and always punctual! Would definitely recommend to others. We also loved having their 3 dogs around!

Very nice inn. You can eat very nice and the rooms are great. The place is charming located in what seems to be an authentic old inn. There is a hidden playground if you go around to a field located behind the Inn. You can access it from an adjacent side street. Nice landscape too both on and around the property.

Great location for what I needed. Warm, well equipped room, lovely shower. I would recommend it and would stay again if the need arose.

So many good points. Asked for a ground floor room and this was provided. Plenty of parking space. Outside seating space was really good if it had stopped raining! The staff was brilliant, a credit to the Chequers Inn.

We can't imagine a better place to stay. Everything was perfect in this wonderful modernist house with a beautiful garden. Our spacious room was fitted out with everything that maximizes your comfort while the welcome by Ann and Martin was unforgettable. They are kind, relaxed and immensely helpful hosts, and they are doing miracles in the kitchen. Still dreaming of their breakfasts!

Hosts were very accommodating. Lovely and quiet. It was an autumnal evening and Clare made sure the heating was on when we got back to our room later that night. Great breakfast with free range eggs laid on site by resident hens 🐔🐔

The Ram Inn is a unique experience. Tucked away in a peaceful village in Sussex, it transports you into a serene and creative space surrounded by minimal but eclectic furnishings, a big desk to write at and a deep bath to restore oneself. Downstairs it the perfect picture-book English pub serving delicious local produce from the gin through to the venison. I even managed to walk someone else’s dog up through the church yard. The staff were kind and helpful.
