My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Chez Montiz and we loved it. Kath and Steve made us feel like family. The room was super clean, very comfy bed and pillows, big shower and bath. We enyoied the best breakfast ever looking Rennes les Chateou from the window every morning. Plenty of historic and natural sites to visit. We recomend it and we hope to visit it again.

The owner/proprietress was very helpful and friendly. She went out of the way to make her guests feel welcome, and she ensured their comfort. I wish I had known ahead of my stay that meals were available at the property because restaurant selections were limited in Esperaza. I would definitely stay here again on anther visit to Esperaza. It's within easy walking distance of the town center.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious with a varied menu, and the location was great. Even if someone didn't stay there, I would recommend they eat at Le Jardin d'Ines.

The breakfast is complete and expect some good cooking if you stay for dinner… aside this, the owners offer a great hospitality. About the village: medieval cute and well preserved village, also known for Nostradamus that lived here. The little towns around are fun to visit and there is some canoe activities too.
