We have stayed here before, it is a quiet area and we have privacy, last time we had a trailer and there was plenty of room to park both the car and trailer so this was great for us! Rene is a good host and very friendly, so we like to stay here as we also have everything we need.

What started as a last-minute booking quickly became a very special experience and an unforgettable memory of our travels through Denmark. Our room was absolutely immaculate, with no detail overlooked by the B&B owners/managers. We loved the decor and the careful attention that was dedicated to every aspect of the construction and aesthetics of this property. The meticulous care that was evident in our room could also be appreciated in the shared bathroom and common area/kitchen. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything necessary to prepare simple meals (or enjoy the host’s breakfast offering). Great food, dinner was outstanding. The staff were so nice they made us so welcome it had such a friendly family atmosphere. The walks round the property were lovely, I wish I’d had more time to explore the area.

I simply cannot praise Essenbaekgaard enough. The owner was absolutely so friendly and helpful. The room and the whole place was very clean with everything needed. The breakfast was wonderful with home baked rolls. The setting was marvellous and the B&B very easy to find. I thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay and will go again next time I'm in Denmark
