We received a warm welcome on arrival by the owner with an immediate offer to take us to the train station complimentary. That was only the start of all the personal touches. Twin room had 3 beds in. We requested if they could cook us a omelette or fried eggs instead of the eggs they served for breakfast. It was no bother and done with a smile. Instead of just dropping us off at the railway station the manager carried our luggage and introduced us to the man behind ticket counter. All these small and so important things are not seen other. Well done from seasoned worldwide travellers.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The building is old and charming. It is in a quiet location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and excellent service.

The hotel is well located in Le Prese, a short walk from Lake Poschiavo. It is easy to access by car and there is adequate parking. The train station and the bus stop are also conveniently close by. We thoroughly enjoyed using the provided travel pass to take the Bernina Express train across the Bernina Pass to the Engadin valley and back again - a spectacular journey. All of the hotel staff - reception, restaurant, etc. - were very friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and well equipped. The beds were exceedingly comfortable. It is a quiet location so we slept very well indeed. A nice buffet breakfast was provided and dinner in the hotel restaurant was of excellent quality at a reasonable price. We enjoyed a lovely stay and would highly recommend the Raselli Sport Hotel.

I really appreciated my stay at the Chasa Sassalbo were I have felt just like at home thanks to Karen's kindness & warm welcome. The room was very clean and lovely, I slept so well. After few days on the road, it was the perfect place to relax, explore and chill on the balcony with great views. I loved the charming feel of the place, a mix of Swiss-Italian atmosphere, architecture and decoration. It is perfectly located for great holidays, I could spend the afternoon on the lake's beach and had a swim, having a pizza in Italy, hiking the Swiss Alps, a day in famous Saint-Moritz and the Bernina Express train stop is just 5 minutes away. The value for the affordable price makes it a perfect relaxing place and central point from were to explore the stunning surroundings for a holiday or for fews days. I highly recommend. Davide and Barbara were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a spectacular view of the valley. Barbara speaks English pretty well. Davide is a gourmet chef... be prepared for fantastic meals reasonably priced.

Breakfast was amazing! Very diverse (croissant, bread, cold meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, coffee...) and big amounts. The beds were comfy and the place very clean. Towels, shampoo, shower gel, coffee machine, coffee, kitchen utensils...all available in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and thoughtful. She speaks Italian, German and English at least. Really good location as well to go to Tirano by train or car.
