From the minute we stepped off the bus from Gstaad (which stops at the front door of Panorama B&B) it was obvious this place is special. Lauenen itself is a picture perfect alpine village where you feel as though you've stepped into a Christmas card. The B&B Panorama has the most spectacular views imaginable - snow capped mountains flanked by pines dripping with snow, with beautiful ancient wooden chalets and twinkling lights in the foreground. Karen the host was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Great, filling, locally-sourced breakfast. Beautiful, warm, well-appointed room with a balcony overlooking alpine splendour. We visited for winter hiking and the trails around Lauenen must be some of the best in Switzerland. We were truly blown away by our short stay - just wish we were still there!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 7 nights here.Wonderful ,cheerful and helpful front desk staff ,restaurant staff and room cleaning staff.Bed ,linens,towels,bathroom-all high quality. Breakfast had many healthy options,including freshly made breads , cereals ,fish,dried fruits ,nuts,soft-boiled eggs,cheeses,home-made fruit jams and daily-made fruit cocktail( it was NOT from a can!) .I also appreciated that they made me a soy cappuccino every morning. The hotel was 35% of the price of comparable hotels in Gstaad,a quick 4 -minute train ride away.The train ran hourly but the buses ran every 10/15 minutes-so never a problem . The train stop (Saanen) is a 1-minute walk from the hotel. Saanen is much more authentic a town than Gstaad,and more interesting. Next to the hotel is a small farmers market-type store selling fruits,vegetables,nuts,grains-everything,really. I slept with the windows open every night-it was that quiet. Lovely pace! Excellent base from which to sample the various ski runs nearby.

Very nice staff and amazing breakfast spread. We booked a room with shared bathroom but they upgraded us to their best room since it's vacation time for them and less number of guests. They view from the balcony of the room is Amazing. The hotel feels like a cozy, antique decorated home. Very authentic swiss vibe in a small cute village. Remote location but that's the charm of this place.

De los mejores alojamientos en los que he estado, el lugar es super acogedor (ideal si buscáis un lugar tranquilo en medio de la naturaleza en el que desconectar), las habitaciones y aseos son espaciosos, la cocina común tendrá de todo lo que necesitéis, buen desayuno... Pero lo mejor de todo sin duda es lo simpática y atenta que es la dueña que desde un principio os recibirá con una sonrisa, os hara sentir como en casa, os aconsejara sobre los planes que tengáis en mente y en general os resolverá cualquiera duda y ayudara con todo lo que pueda ayudaros sin problemas. Recomendadísimo, el lugar se merece mas clientes de los que sea que tenga sin duda.
