The location of the hotel is fantastic! Mt First is right around the corner. In general, we didn't use our car while in Grindelwald. The hotel is beautiful, with big comfortable rooms. The breakfast was fabulous, and the lady who served it was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Many thanks to the hostess of the place for her hospitality and readiness to help with any questions or requests we had.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful location with breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. Good sized room, very clean. I'm happy I chose to stay in this small village, it's not nearly as full as Grindelwald for example.

The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant. They allowed us to store our luggage there on the final day after checkout so we were able to enjoy the day without pulling suitcases around. The location was great! We were a few blocks from the train station and a half block from the tram going up the mountain. The views from the hotel were amazing!
