Everything exceeded our expectations - Olivier and his family are the most welcoming hosts and have genuinely thought of everything in order to offer the best stay! The Chalet is a 2 min walk to the ski lift Violettes, perfect for skiers. Breakfast is great and there is a kitchen if you'd like to cook other meals. We really recommend staying here. Thank you so much we can't wait to be back!

The hosts are super nice and helpful. The place has a wonderful view and the rooms are modern and cosy. The breakfast is prepared with love. The fondue in the barrel outside the house was fantastic.

I stayed 5 nights with Francine who is a truely wonderful host. The room was clean and nice. After a hiking tour you could relaxe on the terrasse and enjoy the beautiful view. The breakfast is really amazing, fresh and with an excellent selection. Everything with great attention to detail. You can feel that she enjoys this. It was simply fantastic and I can recommend the B&B La Forge de Diogne without any compromises. Our experience here was amazing! I was a little nervous whether we will be in time for check in due to the long 9h drive. So I contacted the host and they responded to me with instructions on how to get to the room in case of late arrival. I really appreciated that! Moreover, everything besides that was also exceptional: very friendly staff that really cared to make our stay comfortable, cosy and clean room that was staffed with everything we needed, great breakfast. We will definitely recommend that place to our friends and consider it to stay during our next visit.

oneof my favourite stays. great chalet, superb location with incredible views. the host was extremely kind and provided lots of advice before I arrived. The breakfast was also superb. this is one of those hidden gems. couldn’t recommend more highly for someone looking for an alpine getaway in a friendly chalet with great views.

The hotel was beautiful, very friendly staff. Once we got there, we were greeted with drinks and amazing help from the manager. The room was beautiful with the best shower ever! Hotel is located in beautiful village surrounded by Alps. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Owner was outstanding. He picked us up at the train station (our train was late) and returned us the next morning after preparing a wonderful breakfast. It's a winery and the wine was outstanding. We bought extra and brought it home with us. Our experience there was so much more than I can list here. We will be returning to Castel de Daval!
