Our stay at Swander exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and incredibly clean. The host, Sander, gave us great local recommendations and tips for sight seeing around the town. We were a little worried it would be far from Bruges Old Town but we took the bikes for a beautiful ride through nature and along the canals which was our favorite part of the trip. We were so warmly welcomed and the whole trip felt like we were visiting an old friend. For fellow remote workers: the WiFi is strong as well. Cannot recommend Swander enough!

We were greeted on arrival with generosity and friendliness. The room looks out on to open fields, and it is in a peaceful neighbourhood. The large bed was very comfy and there is a smart TV where you can connect to Disney, amazon prime and Netflix. The owners offered a continental breakfast, as there aren't many breakfast options in town. The location just outside Bruges was perfect, and with parking all day at about 13 euros in town, this is a great place if you want a quiet place out of town to stay, with off street parking. An electric car charging point is within walking distance, and we left the car overnight to charge. There is seating outside of the room.
