We will come back! We had the best possible experience in Alsara Guesthouse! Petros and his family made us feel like at home and part of their family. My friend felt sick the day we arrived and they made everything possible to make sure she was feeling better. Thank you very much! The guesthouse is perfectly located in the heart of Gjirokaster. You have the best restaurants around ther corner. Bars/clubs, bazar, castle, Skenduli House, basically everthing is only a stone's throw away. The room is very cozy and equiped with everything you need. Everything is very clean. The bathroom was big and also vers clean. We also had the best breakfast with the most beautiful view on their terrace. Everything was fresh and made with love. Petros and his family are the best hosts you will find in Albania. They help wherever they can and want you to have the best experience! Make sure to try their ice cream made from milk from their farm! And check out Sara's drawings! ;)

The place is adorable! Maria the owner gave us a warm welcome, set with us to explain every thing about the city and made us feel at home! the place is beautiful with a spectacular view over the city and fortress! the location is great close to the center and the fortress. the breakfast was good and we enjoyed it looking at the city :) The room was a part of a shared apartment and we had our private bathroom and shower, but you feel like you're visiting a family so you don't mind that it's shared :) Very important - it's a bit difficult to get there with GPS, I would recommend to get close to the place (about 300m) and than look at the place on Google Maps and try to get to the point just from looking at the map and not using the navigation, because it'll take you through small and slippery roads. Overall we had a great time over there! Thank you Maria!
