Also if you are tall and have problems to find comfortable beds to sleep and showers with right high too you, you gonna find in this apartment.

Fort Bay Suite Apartments bevindt zich in Machico, op 2 minuten lopen van São Roque-strand en 300 meter van Banda d'Alem-strand, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang tot... Beautifully renovated apartment right in the center of Machico. While Machiko is not a touristy destination it's a perfect place to stay if you want to access several hikes in the area and we loved getting the local flavor of the town which is much less touristy than Funchal. The apartment was perfect in the best location one block from the water with lots of restaurants within a block, including a delicious coffee shop across the street. Completely new and clean. Everything was thought of down to the last detail, including a care package of local goodies. The host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. I initially was concerned about comments regarding construction, but while there was some construction the noise did not bother us at all.

Owned by locals who gave us great advice about the area. Isabel is very kind and helpful. Beautiful farming area with lots of hiking trails nearby, but also a short drive to the amazing ocean baths in town.

Excellent stay!! Location: perfect. 2 min from airport bus stop and la vie mall which has Pingo Doche supermarket . 1 min to SAM bus terminal. As we didn’t rent a car, it was perfect taking bus to places we wanted ( or transport pick up services to hiking)5 min to promenade and 15 min to old town. Unit 3A: our unit is big and kitchen has everything we need that we cooked most of our meals during our 8 days stay. Bring all herbs/oil/salt/pepper with you if you don’t want to buy at supermarket. There are 3 dolce gusto capsules and 3 tea bags. Dish detergent/capsules and shower gels. Extra towels and bedsheets in the closet in case we needed them. There is a car/motercycle rental next door if you want to rent a car. Communication is perfect with whatsapp and instructions via video. Overall we had a great stay and wish we could stay longer!

Living Funchal Executive ligt in Funchal, op 200 meter van het centrum en minder dan 1 km van Praia do Almirante Reis, en biedt accommodatie met voorzieningen zoals gratis WiFi en een flatscreen-tv. Great location. Spacious studio in newly renovated building. Good sound isolation! I was in March so no AC was not an issue for me, not sure how it would go during summer. Washing and drying machine is a great touch!
