Dunvegan – Íbúðir

The location is incredible, looking out at Harris and north Uist. The cabin is equipped with everything you could need, it is so calming. We stayed at the start of feb2024, Arriving in a gale and rain lashing down, yet once inside, we felt perfectly safe thanks to how well it's been constructed. There's central heating inside so we could have it at a temperature that suits us. Kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed, including oil,salt, pepper and sugar. Bathroom was lovely, just the right size with a fantastic shower. Bed was comfortable and perfect for gazing out in the evening. If you like your wildlife there are some hares that dot around the place, sheep and a bay. Night time is incredible, with no lights, take a torch if you need anything from your car, but look up at the milkyway. I forgot my camera however on a camera phone you still captured 100s and 1000s of stars. Parking is right by the cabin, Jenny and Roland are absolutely lovely, Roland helped me with our itinerary for where to go and helped avoid a potential disastrous journey home via the ferry in checking on times. Shame I can't rate more than 10 as it was exactly what we needed and more than what we were expecting. It hasn't been thrown together, it has been carefully thought out and well planned by people who care. Thank you and see you soon. Matt and Freya

The B&B is in a stunning location. The room and facilities were very cosy, super clean and welcoming. The bed in particular was really comfortable, we had a great nights sleep.

The accommodations were excellent and the view of the Loch and the castle from the deck in the morning was fantastic. Exactly what we were hoping for a 3 night stay on the Isle of Skye We relaxed at the apartment, visited Dunvegan, the castle, and traveled to hike the Old Man of Storrs. Advice: You will need a car to get to the property and to visit Dunvegan and other sites. Bring any food you will need for the first day since it takes some time to get to the stores in Dunvegan. It's a beautiful apartment in a rustic setting. Just what we were looking for. It takes some time to get to the farm along the country roads but the extra effort is worth it. The host and hostess are very friendly and gave good advice on where to go and what to do.

Exceptional in every way. Fantastic hosts, large modern accommodation surrounded by sheep and water. We were so glad our original place in Portree cancelled in us and we were offered this place. Even the treats where brilliant. Close to Dumvegan castle and the fabulous head.

It's a perfect site for a couple. Very cosy and comfortable. The hot tub made it exceptional. After long walks it's a perfect way to end the day. It's located closely to some really good restaurants and lovely wee shop locally.

The location was conveniently located to the near by attractions on that side of Skye. We enjoyed the remote location and the privacy. Modern and updated accomodations.

The accomodation had modern, tasteful decor and was incredibly private with a view to die for! The gentle walks around the area were beautiful and the peace and quiet of the wildflower meadows and the sea inlets were a welcome break from city life. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding mountains and peninsulas and there were stunning views at every turn of the long winding roads!
