You won't find better value-for-money anywhere in Gjirokastër Pictures show view from balcony in the back of the room (accessible though hallway though) and the breakfast area in front of the house.

This apartment has just been renovated and is excellent in every way. Spacious and spotlessly clean. It is on the third floor but a lift is available. A full kitchen and lounge room feature. The bathroom is ultra modern. Quiet, while still being close to everything. Parking in the streets nearby is easy. Well recommended.

The old neighborhood with heritage buildings all around, rooster sounds at dawn included, the breathtaking view over the valley and the carefully and tastefully restored family house were much appreciated. Speaking of family, Deniza welcomed us like we were dear relatives and made sure we had what we needed for our breakfasts for our stay. She took her time to share insider tips and her wide knowledge of Albanian and Gjirokaster culture and history. The beds were comfortable and everything is in good condition! 5 minutes walk to the Basar, close to 3 small museums.

We wish to stay longer. Highly recommended. Definitely will come back.

    We had a lovely stay at Jani Studio Apartments. Everything was super clean and the bed was the most comfortable one we slept in at our vacation in Albania. The communication with the owner was via WhatsApp, which made it very easy for us. We would definitely stay again at Jani Studio Apartments.

    We really loved to stay here. The host was super kind, the service was amazing, I loved the bathrobe it was the best and softest I’ve ever felt! The hygiene was perfect and it was the first room that really felt like a ‘hotel’. We’re from the Netherlands and most of the accommodations here in Albania are apartments, but Jani Studio felt like a high class hotel room. Compliments to the engineer and the host. Would recommend to everyone, this was part of our honeymoon.

    This apartment is located up the hill behind the oval, quite a steep drive/walk up to the apartment building but worth the effort. Don't be put off by the exterior as the owners have made a very comfortable, modern apartment with plenty of thoughtful touches. Like a toaster! Great view from the balcony, has a washing machine outside on the balcony as well. Owner contacted us when we arrived, and met us in town to show where it is.

    These hosts saved us when another host bailed last minute. They had it cleaned up and ready to go in record time. The apartment is very spacious and clean, with all the amenities. They even provided beer and drinks for purchase at low cost in the fridge and did everything they could to ensure we had a good stay. The location is beautiful with a great view and short, flat walk to the city center.

    The studio apartment interior has very recently been renovated to a high standard. Excellent facilities, very comfortable (single) bed. Good location in the flat 'new' town area (as opposed to up the hill in the old town) - very convenient for onward travel by bus. Owner was very responsive.

    We primarily chose this place because of it's location. We were traveling with a car and did not want to drive up the steep and narrow streets to the old town. The apartment has a private parking space and you get a whole flat for yourself. The garden is nice and you also have a terrace. The breakfast was really good.

    The best rental I’ve stayed at in my life! Clean, luxurious apartment with everything you could need, great view of Gjirokaster, super clean. Not to mention our host was so lovely and helpful.

    Lovely little studio apartment, halfway between the bus station and the old town. Nice, quiet spot and a great view of the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful and let me check in early which was great.
