We stayed at Hotel Molokai in about 1993 and again about 2011. Loved the Polynesian flair then, and has been updated (paint, added kitchenette and 2 queen beds). Although we had not previously stayed in this exact room, we know it would have been comparable to other rooms originally. We've loved the open air style (screened louvers) that allows us to hear roosters crowing beginning at daybreak (yes, we love the country feel).

Located in Maunaloa, Hawaii region, Ke Nani Kai is situated 1.6 km from Papohaku Beach. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Kepuhi Beach is less than 1 km away. The size and location was perfect. We were there for a short time but REALLY loved that we were on the 1st floor. Easy to walk to the beach below. My mother enjoyed sitting outside at night relaxing in the cool breeze. She was even able to see deer for the first time in her life.
