Wonderful Quiet Attic Apartment with strong and stable WiFi. Apartment was well stocked with everything you would need for a short or long stay. It even comes with a washing machine and detergent. Apartment faces a large garden so it's really quiet. Sound proofing is pretty solid. Plenty of street parking within 20-80m. Wonderful Hosts! Gina was very responsive with clear communications. Her husband, Josue met us at the property to go through the apartment features and entrance requirement. We would stay again when we return to Horta. :)

Spacious, modern and clean apartment, with all the necessary amenities. The area is quiet, but it's only a short walk to the centre with all the restaurants, shops etc. Bruno, our host, was amazing. He is very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. He goes out of his way to make sure we had everything we need and even provided us with a printed guide/itinerary. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Sao Miguel

Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. Diana, as a Host was extremely efficient, accommodating and kind hearted Host. She was very easy to communicate with and was prompt in replying. Her directions to the location were amazing and she walked me through the cabin and and the grounds to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. She even left a lovely gift basket of local treats which was very thoughtful and showed how proud she is of her home country and wants to share that with her guests. Very, very special. The cabin location was amazing with a great view of the village and the ocean with a lovely outdoor covered veranda to sit and eat and take in the view. The kitchen was efficient and well stocked with all you needed to have morning tea or coffee and to cook and make a meal. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. At night you could sit out, even in the rain and watch the sunset and in the morning have coffee and watch the sunrise. The Village has some great sights to take in as well as being a great location to drive to other areas with lots of great scenery along the way. The people in the Village are so lovely and social and make you feel like you are part of the community. There are a few local cats and they were the gentlest and sweetest and would come by for visits which was quite nice during the evenings. I highly recommend it for single travelers, couples, and or families.

Featuring a rooftop pool and views of city, Casa da Galeria - Azores Art of Hosting is a recently renovated aparthotel set in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. Great apartment as it was nicely located close to the town. Also, my family and I felt very well taken care of by the friendly staff.

Located within 600 metres of Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach and 2.3 km of Silveira Beach, The Shipyard - Angra offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Angra do Heroísmo. Excellent design, super sympathic employees, good breakfast, perfect dinner in the hotel restaurant called "Oficina" for our 4th wedding anniversary. Bed and pillows are soo comfortable. Christina in the reception and Soraia in the breakfast and the others that I don't know the name: "thanks a lot". Nothing to complain. Perfect holidays in this beautiful island.

Vinhas do Calhau ligger i Madalena på Pico-øya, 15 km fra Pico lufthavn, og tilbyr overnatting med gratis WiFi, en lekeplass, hage og avgiftsfri, privat parkering. The staff is wonderful. First, they helped us book a rental car after our plans fell through even though we were unable to find any available cars on the island. Also, our luggage was left behind by the airline and then delivered to the hotel after we had already left. Ana works reception at the hotel and called me to let me know so I could work with the airline to get it picked up and sent to our current island. Then Ana also called us when the bags were picked up. This was imperative because the airline made no attempt to let us know they had our bags. Ana told me the flight time from Pico to the island we were on and so we stopped by the airport and found our bags. They were separated away from the bags being delivered that day and had not been entered into the system. It took 5 days to get our bags and it would have been longer if not for Ana. We are so grateful for everyone there. Also the room was spacious with a great view.
