The aparthotel is only a short walk from the beautiful River Elbe terrace and there are many restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. Everything about this place was amazing! The size of the apartment blew us away! The rooms were all big, not to mention the massive walk in closet and sauna in the master bathroom as an added bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some home cooked meals. The pull down bed in the living room was very comfortable and it was nice to have a second full bathroom, with a washer and dryer. The location was terrific, a short walk to two grocery stores, a few minutes to the town center with amazing restaurants and so many things to explore and right by a tram stop. The parking situation was so easy and convenient, even for our large SUV. We are looking forward to staying here again! Loved it!

There was a festival in the square right below us and with the windows closed, we didn't hear anything. I imagine this is the perfect place to stay for Christmas markets. There were lots of nice little touches in the apartment that I think only someone who travels a lot would think of. Also, the listing doesn't show that there's also a half bath which was a wonderful surprise. The beds were comfortable, the shower mirror doesn't fog, heated floors, a/c that actually works so sleeping was great! Lots of windows for light. The kitchen was so nice and an outdoor seating area also. The parking garage was so convenient. We all would like to live there.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Bergoase Panorama-Apartments is an aparthotel set in a historic building in Kirnitzschtal, 5.7 km from Saxon Switzerland National Park. After arriving on the night train and riding up into the hills on hired mountain bikes to get here, we were able to check in early which was a blessed relief! (Note - The route that Google maps gave us on our bikes went off-road, and we had to walk part of the way uphill as it was too steep to ride the mountain trail, especially with our backpacks. You can also catch a local bus to the village to get here). The apartment was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The kids spent most of their time outside roaming up the hiking paths or riding their bikes up and down the hilly streets in the quiet village. This accommodation is on the edge of the village near the top of a hill and the view is lovely out towards the forests and mountains. We came in early spring and the trees were just starting to green up so I can see it would be even more spectacular in late spring and through summer and autumn. There were probably a dozen or so campers at all stages of life using the grounds with their tents and vans, as well as others staying in apartments, and it was peaceful with a feeling of camaraderie, no loud voices or music, just people chilling and a few kids roaming around doing kid stuff. This village and accommodation was a big contrast to Bad Schandau, which was literally crawling with cars and tourists (we were there over the Easter long weekend), and we were so glad we had not stayed in town but on this calming and chill mountainside.

If we visit the region again, i will choose to stay without doubt.
