The rose garden in the center yard was in full bloom, and the owner even cut me a bouquet. This is an older lodging but has everything you need,is totally clean, and is right across the street from an entrance to the lakeside path. The thermal tub is not fancy, but it does the job. Value for the price and location are very good

Easy check-in via door pin code was great as we drove from Auckland.-Taupo and didn't arrive until 10.30 pm. Clean, spacious, comfortable, allocated off street parking, plenty of utilities. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, spacious, well equipped room. The kitchenette worked great for tending to meals. It was a nice convenience to have a washer and dryer in the room. It was in a great location. Walkable to the lake, restaurants and stores. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
