Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 5 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. A lovely room on a beautiful, peaceful property very close to the airport but with very little to no aircraft noise. All the staff were friendly, courteous and kind and I was made to feel very welcome and very safe. Tea and cake in the afternoon a nice touch. A tasty dinner and a substantial breakfast! I chose the right place to break my long journey back to the UK.

This place, effortlessly beautiful, they say dont judge a book by its cover. Starting from outside with stunning layout of the entire place and surroundings, inside the house is equipped with everything needed to run a house, during our stay everything we needed was available to us and with so much privacy. The lighting at night is beyond beautiful especially in the Gypsy wagon room where the kids felt like father Christmas came early. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay and we hope to come back again. The host treated us to surprise easter egg hunt which we absolutely enjoyed and goes hand in hand with the surprise I had for my partner who later left the place as my fiancée. Sybille constantly checked up on us and asked us if we needed anything, she would make an appointment in time if she wants to come over, respecting our space and privacy at most. In summary: Our stay at Bella tiny house was enchanting and fulfilling, from its captivating exterior to its well-equipped interior and magical night time ambiance, creating unforgettable memories for both adults and children alike, leaving us eager to return.

Located in Ondekaremba, a 1-hour drive from Windhoek, Zannier Hotels Omaanda provides accommodation set within a 9000-hectare private wildlife reserve. Excellent location close to the airport . Very friendly staff Naomi and Andy organised everything to our outmost satisfaction. We will return!

From the time I booked until I left the whole experience was top notch. Prior to my arrival, Gerda was kind enough to book a morning outing for me that I was struggling to find information on. Nikki was waiting for me on arrival, check in was simple and easy, and my room was ready and waiting for me. The meals are excellent but remember to save room for dessert - you will not be disappointed! Grounds are lovely and the views from my room were stunning. I had arrived a few days before the rest of my group and couldn’t have picked a more welcoming, relaxing place to recharge and adjust to the time difference. To top it off, on my last morning I was treated to visits by waterbucks and kudos at the waterhole near my room.

Excellent stay in a sanctuary close to the airport and Windhoek. If you want to spend the first night or last night close to Windhoek, this is a great option. I would suggest to stay at least two nights to have time to participate in the various wildlife activities they offer on the premises. Corne met us with welcome drinks at the reception and gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. He and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and responsive. If you read my review you probably have read as well some other recent reviews, as I did and I almost cancelled my stay here. I'm so glad I didn't, because we had a wonderful stay, one night was just too short. The recent very negative reviews definitely don't do justice to this great place that has been created with a much deeper reason than just being a lodge. Don't expect a luxury lodge at the top end, but that is not what you are paying anyway. The cost is totally justified for what you get. We stayed in chalet number one, very convenient next to the main building with the restaurant, reception and common reading area. Our room was super clean and nothing was missing, everything well stocked, towels, coffee, tea and minibar. There are definitely no rats in the room, my guess is that some guests might have mistaken the rock hyrax for rats. It could happen if you leave the sliding windows to the deck open that some curious animals enter your room, the instructions to always close the doors is clearly marked, even baboons could enter and they could really mess around. But aren't the animals one of the reason why we come to visit Namibia? Just don't let them enter your room. We had a wonderful sunset horse ride which Cindy, the caretaker of the horses. She is very calm and did a wonderful job and her colleague prepared us a sundowner for our last sunset in Namibia out in the wilderness, amazing! The 4 course diner was delicious and so was the breakfast!

Featuring accommodation overlooking Auas Mountain, Trans Kalahari Inn is located 22 km from Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, sports bar and free Wi-Fi. Very quite and nice, with a good view on the terrace. Stuff are very nice and helpful. Food is quite good.

Murangi Travel Lodge offers accommodation in Windhoek. The property has an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Don't have breakfast. Have to leave at 5h30 for airport.

The Rooms and the facility are designed with love for EVERY detail. The staff is extremely competent and friedly. The food is amazing and with huge variety. Great wines! This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at with amazing value for this price!

Set on a privat nature reserve outside of Windhoek, Onjala features outdoor activities like nature drives, bush walks and stargazing. All food provided was excellent. The pools were inviting and cooled your body as we did not have air-conditioning in our room. Staff were very helpful.

Everything about River Crossing Lodge was perfect. The clean, well designed chalets are staggered so each balcony is totally private and the view of the mountains is stunning, especially at sunrise. The food at River Crossing is delicious and every member of staff was kind, professional and friendly. River Crossing is far enough away from Windhoek to feel as if you are in a world of your own. We definitely plan to stay at River Crossing Lodge when we fly back home.
