I quite liked that it's nestled in the side streets close to the famous haveli buildings which was quieter and more local than the busy 'downtown'. They also serve a delightful breakfast, and -if a nice day- you can have on their beautiful rooftop. Also- apart from the stay- you should ask Salim about a day tour with him. I happened to be solo and he was free for the day, so I ended up getting a wonderful personal tour of the fort, haveli and Jain temple. It was incredible and Salim knows so much about all of them. Can't recommend enough. ☺️

It’s charismatic and beautiful and staying there felt special. Sure it’s old and little worn out, but for me that’s exactly what made it special. This place has history and a lot of charm. Bilal, the owner is really kind, and naturally funny, and very generous. Mohammed, who works there is also very nice and Lilu is a sweetheart. Good vegetarian food, nice hot shower, beautifully decorated rooms. But the best, was the energy and laughs, you cannot put the price on that. Thank you guys for an unforgettable experience and hopefully see you again.

I arrived very early in the morning. The owner let me check in and rest earlier. Also when I left the next day, I needed to wait for the evening train. The owner kindly let me shower and stay there comfortably.
