New Knight Royal Hotel ligger bara 15 minuters bilresa från Pudongs internationella flygplats och erbjuder gratis transferservice till Pudongs internationella flygplats och Disneyland. The hotel is about a 15 min drive from Pudong airport (~20RMB by taxi). If you're on a real tight budget, there's a bus stop ~7 min walk away. The hotel provides a free shuttle to and from Pudong Airport in the mornings (4am to 12:10pm) which we took and it was great. There's a convenience store at the first floor of the hotel, which has all the basics. The check-in was quick and easy, and check-out even more so. As an extra plus, no deposit was needed at check-in. The rooms (we booked a superior room) are nice, surprisingly clean and spacious, though they do show their age in places. There's an elevator in the hotel and there are cupboards and closets galore in the room. The rooms are ridiculously big, especially considering what you pay for it (we paid ~225RMB for two). We stayed there one night going out and one coming back and there was no smell of smoke in either of the rooms (a common issue in places like this). If you get breakfast for 20-30RMB over the room price, take it. It's not worth paying 38pp extra. For what you pay, you get more than you need, and I dare you to find a better deal. *This very same hotel is sometimes advertised as Pebble Hotel Pudong International Airport Chuanliu Highway on different booking platforms.

WiFi och gästparkering är gratis. - It has washing machines, drying machines and ironing for free!!! - The gym is two doors away so you can workout while waiting for your clothes to be ready. Toilets are also there. Very tidy! - For those who couldn’t eat breakfast because we have to fly very early they gave us take away!!! - The staff replied quickly when I made a question after I made the reservation. - The staff was really helpful with all the questions I had face to face. Very kind! - I got told to mention staff ID 205206 if I was pleased with the service so there it goes~ - The corridor had great illumination. My dad didn’t like my previous hotel because it felt like a haunted hotel hehe. - Shuttle service!!

This is a truly amazing little hotel. Yes the rooms are small and the property looks low key from the outside, but well managed and staffed as a hotel. We stayed twice for our 1 month trip to China, inbound then outbound, both experiences were exceptional. The spotless clean maintenance of the hotel, the warmth and kindness of the staff, the helpful shuttle drivers, and the breakfast. In particular, the willingness to go extra mile for guests no matter what their needs are. The first time was that my 15 year old daughter accidentally separated from me at the airport, having to arrive early by herself at the hotel, with no money in the pocket. Multiple reception girls took care of her along the way, from shuttle pickup, to settling her in her room, and even fed her before my arrival. The 2nd time(outbound) was my old frail parents having extra luggage, oversized too(no joke). The kind gentleman in the lobby and number 11 reception girl went extra mile to accommodate us. They arranged in advance a big bus, instead of their normal medium coach, to accommodate the large volume of our luggage, also helped us loading all the luggage. Thank you so much to all of you! We will surely return.
