The owner was super nice, and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is clean, the room is very big with an amazing outdoor/indoor shower. The service for the food was also super nice, always on time and the choice of food was very variegated. We also did the safari with them, which is 10/10 recommended. The price is the average but we were alone in the jeep, with a private guide and a driver. They made sure we were seeing every animal, explain to us everything while we were going around. Super recommended!

Location for Yala safari. Owner made sure we had a breakfast packed for a very early departure (0430), and allowed us to quickly change and wash up before departing after our safari experience. Best deal I have ever had for a night’s stay. Very clean and roomy and comfortable!

The hosts made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. The grounds were a great place to relax after our safari, which they helped us organise and packed us a takeaway breakfast. The food was also amazing, especially the breakfast, which was the best we've had here so far. Would recommend Richards Cabanas!

Our stay at forestville was amazing, the place is Very well maintained and quiet in tune with nature..the villa is just 20 min to yala national park .. we loved spending time star gazing in the rooftop terrace during the evenings .. highly recommend vila

Surrounded by jungle and river. Host arranged Yala safari for us. Above all a splendid picnic breakfast was provided, which was provided early in morning at 430 am so that we can take it with us for the safari. Mosquito repellent was provided and it was useful.

Excellent, family-run resort with just 4 bungalows in a beautiful garden with a superb swimming pool & solarium area. The bungalow is lovely & spacious with a large bedroom, a huge bathroom and a lovely patio overlooking the pool for you to relax on. The bed was big and super comfy. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. The AC was effective and the WiFi worked well for us. The breakfasts were very tasty and we ate there twice in the evening, both times enjoying some excellent home cooked food. We really loved the quiet out of town location, but a tuk tuk into Tissa' takes less that 10 minutes. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and always with a smile on their faces, especially Niranji and Kumarra. They were also able to arrange a safari to Yala at a reasonable price - we had a great driver and the whole 6 seat jeep to ourselves. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and we would certainly recommend staying here.
