Property was very clean. Staff were very attentive and kind. One of the places I’ve felt the most comfortable staying in Sri Lanka. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting hiriketiya. Property is a few minutes walk from popular restaurants and a 15 min walk from hiriketiya beach making it quiet and peaceful for you to rest. If ever, you can also relax on the lounge chairs and your private pool. Overall, 10/10 and would stay here again.

Beautiful and super clean rooms. Little terrace with pool was also very relaxing. The manager was very responsive and helped book a taxi to the airport. Convenient location just up the Main Street.

Menawarkan pemandangan taman, Ruwan Jungle Homestay di Mirissa mempunyai penginapan, basikal percuma, taman,kawasan pantai peribadi, teres dan kemudahan barbeku. Home from home! Ruwan and his family couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their lovely Homestay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The shower was powerful and in the heat a welcome relief. Our room was on the small side but this wasn’t a problem as the outside space had a hammock, table and chairs. Breakfast was served daily by Ruwan and his lovely daughter. It was fresh and plentiful and always delivered with a big smile. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and took some getting used to. Ruwan did kindly offer to change our room but we declined as we didn’t want to inconvenience him with another room to clean. However it is only fair to share this information. We stayed 4 Nights with Ruwan and his family and everyday he checked on our welfare, if we needed anything or a ride anywhere. He organised a wonderful Whale watching trip for us, one we would recommend, as a must when in this area. Ruwan kindly cooked us a delicious Sri Lanka. Fish supper despite his wife only day’s earlier giving birth to their son. On New Years Day the family invited us for breakfast in their home. The food was plentiful, delicious and a reflection of this family’s kindness and willingness to share their hospitality with us. I urge Anyone in this area to visit Ruwan and his family if wanting an authentic experience. Ruwan, thank you , we will be back. You are in our hearts forever. Xox

We had the most wonderful stay at the Three Gables. The villa is beautiful and comfortable, every detail is thought out and it is all absolutely worth the price tag. The food is excellent, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We were there for our honeymoon and Suresh and the team made sure we had the most special stay. Our only regret is not staying longer - we'll definitely be back.

Located in Mirissa in the Matara District Region, 3.7 km from Whale Watching Mirissa, Ubuntu by Lantern boasts an outdoor pool, barbecue and sun terrace. It is an amazing villa, with a staff, everyone was super kind and helpful. The place was very comfortable, and not crowded at all in january, sometimes even felt is just for us, but the villa has 8 rooms. Food was also brilliant. The whole beach was very peaceful and clean. If you want to hide away, but be close (20 min with tuktuk) to frequent places, than you find the perfect choice.

The host and her lovely family went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every morning they prepared a delicious homemade breakfast, and they made sure we were never short of anything. If you’re looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and heartwarming place to stay – this is it. We can’t recommend it enough!

We stayed at Kingsman Villa for four nights, and it was absolutely perfect! The owner, Kasun, is such a kind and humble host—always ready to help with anything. The villas are brand new and have everything you need: quiet air conditioning, excellent bathroom facilities, and even a private mini pool, which was perfect for cooling off after a beach day or workout. There are also smaller rooms available if you prefer. Kasun arranged a scooter for us and a tuk-tuk for our departure, making everything super easy. They also organize river tours, which is a great extra touch. Breakfast was included, and every day we got to choose from a menu. We already miss the banana pancakes and chocolate-banana roti—so delicious! Kasun even helped with surprising my boyfriend for his birthday during breakfast and even got him a gift—such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate—just book your stay at Kingsman Villa!
