We really like the place. Great room, beds, garden and pool. And quiet surrounding. Also the breakfast was nice. and the staff was very helpful. Our young kids felt safe and free to run around and were happy. We didn't make use of the diner als the vegetarian option was not that great and the diner quite expensive, but we found a really nice local restuarant BiteMe in Heenatigala, that served really nice local food, had great atmosphere and was only a 5 minute tuck tuck ride away. Also Wijaya Beach was 15 minutes away with a good pizza restaurant.

We were staying here for two weeks and the place started to feel like home. The hospitality is way beyond. The manager, owner and people there were so friendly and we are so happy to get to know them. Breakfast is huge and delicious, we highly recommend to take it with 900lkr. If you are looking for a affordable but nice place to stay, just choose this one. Definately value for money! The place is near the train station and you can find restaurants by walking but we rented a scooter right next to the place with three minutes walk. Enjoy your stay if you choose this one <3

Both Ferran and Madura are amazing, helpful guys who helped us with anything, recommended their favourites and made sure we had a lovely stay. There’s enough space to park scooters. Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The courtyard is beautiful, the staff are friendly and the food was delicious!
